Why can't I edit a post?

Not really in-game technical, but forum issue.

Anyone know why i can't edit a post? I made a post in the tunnels thread and I want to change the price, but i am unable to edit my posts. Is this a bug? or am I bugged? I used to be able to edit them.

You are only allowed to edit posts for a set amount of time and only in certain subforums

Ah ok. So in the tunnels forum, i guess I can't edit when I purchased something or if i want to change price. Which seems counterproductive. Seems odd, wondering if i am bugged/

Let me reiterate:

After a set amount of time passes, you can no longer edit your post. You are not bugged.

Why this is the case, I cannot tell you. I did not implement the rule.

Yes Doctor Jeff, I was thinking aloud how that particular forum I thought maybe I was bugged. I misinterpreted what you wrote [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] "only in certain subforums" I took that as in perhaps some subforums there is not a set time. My bad!

I assume the 30-minute edit rule is because people would change what they said and claim not to have said it.

Doctor Jeff: Thanks- I did read your post, I think I just want not clear in my response. When I wrote

I think perhaps I should have wrote:
"i guess I can't come back to edit when I purchased something or if i want to change price if it has been past 30 mins"

The rest of that paragraph was me talking aloud how i thought that was counterproductive (in that particular forum), but so be it, I will just need to make a new post if something changes and respond to all the tels in the interim that I found what i was looking for.
