What exactly is Boxing?
The real question is, how does "Boxing" affect the average, casual
Project 99 player? Reports of others "Boxing" has had no effect on me whatsoever so im curious as to how it will affect others. Thanks.

2 box duo locks down Lord/FG for weeks straight with 0 risk (enc/nec for example) and now controls your Yak/FBSS price baselines <- thats how
though I believe you're of the sentiment that WARS USE EXE AXE

EQ Live is pretty much ruined because of boxing.
if you don't box, you can barely exp if your not a solo class. because everyone else is boxing and not interested in grouping. they can just invis to a camp with their pocket shm or whatever it is they are carrying around and exp/camp there. Specially now with merc, 2 box ends up having a tank and a cleric merc. So, if you are playing a dps and a shm, it's uber easy to take any camp. Of course, EQ Live want you to box so you give em more money. Here it's different, and it's why it's so nice. you can group, you can get camps... you can play the game instead of logging on and going lfg for hours thinking it sucks and you can't do anything. try making a noob rogue or something on live, see how fast you can catch up to the average player now. with like 85 levels and 2000+ aa's... ramp up will be at least a year if not more. trying to get up to par on gear when you can't camp it solo and can't get a group makes it impossible. this should give you an idea of how things eventually degenerate when multi boxing is allowed. Of course here, the world is much smaller, we aren't 234234 expansions in. so it would be much worst, as getting camps would be simply impossible. | ||

If people can box, it's going to preclude a large population of people from participating in normal social interaction or grouping. It's just an obvious fact for those involved with this server and who have observed other private servers allow it. Don't make the silly assumption that you're the first person to think "I can't think of a reason it affects me, so therefore it probably doesn't, and I won't change unless someone beats me with the facts for days on end, which isn't worth their time." Either be intellectually honest and read the detailed arguments already put forth about it or don't bother asking. If you do, you're just proving you don't really care about getting an answer, you just feel like you should be able to box and that's all that matters to you.
