Default Cleric soloing 55+

Yeah i know their not designed for this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I can very occasionally pop on to EQ from work and play.

As i`m at work, i can`t commit to a group as i need to afk very regularly.

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could slowly grind xp at level 55+ without having to commit to a group.

My son is also in the same company and can occasionally play his druid (level 50) but we are very much at the mercy of our customers. If we are needed we have to instantly leave the keyboard.

Any hints or tips would be great.

Idea - maybe park your cleric in places where enchanters often solo, like Sebilis, Velketor's Labyrinth, Howling Stones, or maybe Siren's Grotto; and ask to duo or group with them. Teaming up with a cleric can save an enchanter many deaths. You can let them know about your work situation and the need to AFK, but even if you have to AFK and they end up dying, you can still rez them back in and save them time and exp.

Another idea - not sure if you still get exp from the Pained Soul placeholders, but they're a 6-minute-40-second spawn and they're undead; and if you get a Pained Soul, you can sell the MQ to someone who wants to go to VP. And that's outside Seb, so you can be available for enchanters etc. People might need resurrections there, too, so you can collect some donations.

You could kill undead in Trakanon's Teeth. There are a lot of casters so you could try to root/nuke em. It would be very slow.

Most are high green by 53 or 54.

Maybe pick off some mobs in com? Burning woods has some undead mobs, but roamers are bad, no good place to afk.

Guk could be good like qtip said

You can sit up on the parapets in KC and kill some of the skeletons up there. With your level and mana pool, it may take everything you have to kill one spot and wait for a single respawn though. There are roaming undead casters and wolves sometimes and named pop occasionally with mucho hp that could be issues.

Rotting Skeleton camp in DL is likely greened out.
