Default Mouse speed issue

Does anyone else have a speed issue with the Y-Axis on the mouse? I have to drop the sensitivity down to the lowest setting to stop the Y-Axis movement being insanely fast and jerky, and this means the X-Axis is horribly slow.

Is anyone else having this problem, and is there fix?

I also have the same problem. My x-axis movement is unusably slow. I don't know if it is a Windows 7 64-bit or what but it bugs the HELL out of me.

Open your eqclient.ini and search for 'mouse'. Change the MousePointerSpeedMod=0 to MousePointerSpeedMod=3, save and log in.

This is completely independent to the settings in game.

I had this same problem when I first installed until I was told to turn the frame rates down. Went into options and lowered it from 100 or whatever default is and problem was fixed.

This.

Lower your max framerate to 60, or so.

I changed mine from 100 to 40. Worked well.
