Quest Issue: bug with "protect the shipyard?

I'm an ogre warrior worshipping Rallos Zek and i'll trying to rise my Venril Sathir's faction with the quest "Protect the Shipyard". I starded it with an "apprehensive" faction and with around 50 turns (200 braids), my faction is still "apprehensive". I mention that i have every time the message "your faction with VS got better". Anyone know if the quest is broken or something else?

Some other experiences from 1-4 years ago do not seem out of line with your experience.

Have you hunted in KC or Kaesora or taken any VS hits?

It's been noted that the Apprehensive range on this server is extremely large, when in fact it should be rather small (100ish)

I was Apprehensive to Dain and I got a Tormax hit (which should be +750), which at a minimum should bring me to Kindly. I ended up only being brought up to Indifferent.

Also I'm guessing you may be too low, but Howling Stones/Charasis also are negative VS faction hits you may have taken.

By my calculations, the x4 sarnak whip turn in quests appear to be 7.5 faction per hit. odd that its 7 and not 10 or 5 but some examples ->

guised iksar monk = apphrensive -> velium neck click +100 faction boost -> indifferent -> 13 whip quest completions = just hitting amiable

troll shaman agnostic = apphrensive -> velium neck click = indifferent, 12 whip quest completions = amiable.

based on the fact its a flat 100 boost in faction it should be easy to tell apphre/indiff/amiable values.
