Default "Client files out of date" after replacing with V37

Hello's

I am not able to see my characters to log in

. I have downloaded/extracted V37 to my EQ Titanium folder, replacing all, and instead of seeing my characters I see:

"Your client files are out of date from eqchanges.zip Please visiting project1999.com and get the latest EQchanges zip file from the getting started post and make sure to extract to your eq folder (ERRORCODE DLL-2)

I have done this several times to no avail...any ideas? No antivirus and running admin mode.. Thanks

Go to your p99 folder. drag the old dsetup.dll to trash. then redo the v37 and it should work

Are you certain the files got replaced correctly? For instance, dsetup.dll should have a Mod Date of 08/01/2015.

I use WINEQ2 to launch Everquest. saying spell files are not updated as well , I tried making a shortcut with everquest.exe and doing C:\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme and a window pops up saying Run Everquest.exe . I guess WINEQ2 is not compatible for Velious patch ? I dunno. im lost

Well, don't run Everquest.exe... ever. Or make a shortcut to it.

Did you download and unzip the latest patch (v37) to your P99 folder?

Default trouble with install 2

I've clicked the v37 link, saved it, then it opens up the v37 files. I select all of them and extract all to the titanium folder.

my dsetup is updated.. I have moved the old one to the trash and re-did v37 n still nothing... anything else you guys can think of? I feel silly and I cant wait to play
