Right click holds - X axis not as sensitive as Y axis

when i hold the right click in my screen, my X axis sensitivity is like 10x lower than my Y axis. essentially i can barely turn left/right even after moving my whole arm left and right on my huge mousepad. i tried messing with sensitivity in the options, but it didn't do anything. any help?
