ip exemption

how do i go about applying for an ip exemption? im trying to play on my laptop from a public wifi hotspot, and i am worried the ip addy has already been banned(because i have great luck). id like to set it up before i lug my lappy around.

The IP exemption is only for 2 people who want to play together.

If you're playing from different IP addresses there's no problem, log in wherever... if they IP banned THAT public wifi hotspot I'd consider yourself very unlucky [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

This brings up an interesting question I have as well as we'll be moving soon and traveling across the states.

As unlikely as it might be (I mean really what are the chances), what would happen if 2 guests at the same hotel using the same free wifi were attempting to play from their respective rooms?

Ie: I'm moving and will be staying in at least 2-3 hotels over the next month criss-crossing the country. If lightning struck and there just happened to be another p99 addict trying to log in/play from the same Hotel IP address?

Banhammer/suspension/investigation?

First come, first served. The second one simply won't be allowed on the server. They'll get a message "temporarily blocked" or some such.

thanks for the well wishes, i guess ill just try it out. if i have to get an exemption then i guess that means i have someone to duo on red with.
