on the sony live servers.. there was always a 40% of target's max hp, on players in pvp. to prevent wizards from 1 shotting, or even 2 shotting people.... why is this not implemented here? i understand that the damage is reduced by 30% but that 70% of base damage could still do 100% of my hp, if i was at full hp, unbuffed... where as the live system.. only 40% of my max hp... to prevent casters from being too overpowered and givng the target at least some chance to flee or defend themselves.

i feel like you made this up, oh wait you did
if that was implemented on live it was about 7 years after velius manaburn one shotted people for a long ass time There were many spells that one shotted people. | ||

i played on SZ for almost it's entirety, and it always had a 40% hardcap.. manaburn, lifeburn, HT, ice comet, everything
