Default Starting Anew - 3 starting stat questions

So I realized some of my characters had crazy starting stats (I must have been drunk). I'm re-rolling and making 3 characters I want to play (somewhat seriously), and my questions are as follows:

Human Monk - have the starting stats changed from a few years ago in terms of suggestions, or should I still stick with 20STA to start?

Iskar Necro - I went 25int 5sta. Anything to worry about here?

Eru Pally - Yes, I'm going to try it. I did 5 Agil 15 Stam....anything new to update here? I remember these as guides a few years ago, but with Vel coming up, I didn't know if anything has been rethought/changed. Also, I have the ability to get money/gear, so I'm not worried about leveling the first 20 levels or so for any of these (I know the argument that if I don't put STR in my monk it'll be hard, etc...not to worry I have some twinky gear).

Purely endgame questions here. Save the ERU Pally jokes for later [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Human monk I would go 10 str 10 sta or 20 sta if your gonna raid.
Iksar necro I woukd go 25 sta 5 int because of how easy int is to max.
No idea dorf pally master race.

20-30 stat points are not worth re-rolling over. Consider the people people perfectly happy with non-ogre/troll warriors. They're fine.

None were over lvl 12, and I've been out of the game for almost 2 years. So the re-rolling is almost a cleansing. I'm still keeping the PP and Items I had and just giving them to the new guys through a friend [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.].

Thank you for the replies! I went 20 stam with the monk. Only thing I've decided on for sure so far. Oh and 5 agil 15 stam for the paladin, I just don't know what I'm naming him yet...

I put all my iksar necros points into str and stam for more hp and loot carrying. Who needs mana when you have lich + regen.

But really endgame none of that matters due to gear and buffs.

I play an Erudite pally and while I cannot remember my initial stat allocation, I would recommend putting another 5 points into AGI because with that str you will spend a lot of time encumbered. Need to get str to around 130-140 to be able to consistently remain unencumbered. If you have gear to get you there and/or don't plan to loot or wear plate then don't worry about.

Shield of the stalwart seas will put your sta on par with a dwarf and unless you plan on investing in this toon for the long haul (Velious endgame) you will not find a better item for tanking. Epic is better for DPS and resists, but inferior otherwise compared to that shield and a rod of faith. Even with the shield in all it's glory though, you will still be inferior to a dwarf stat wise. Vanity comes at a price ^^
