Miscellaneous: Crash upon looting a corpse

I've crashed a few times while looting a corpse, both my own and that of a mob. I usually loot by command + click so the items go directly into my inventory. I don't know if I would have this issue if I slow looted by manually moving items over with the mouse.

I've searched around and found no solution. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I've also started crashing (nearly each and every time) I loot my corpse. Game immediately locks up once the money transfer sound occurs. Any thoughts (other than don't ever died again)?

Resolving due to age, does not appear widespread.
