Freezing and now freezing at Char. Select

This is ridiculous. Constantly freezing for no reason. I just died on my necro in the middle of nowhere because my screen froze with lag, yet again, while I had Lich on.. Fun right? But now I cant even log back in lol. Just freezes at the char. select screen. I just want my to be able to get on so I can get my corpse and not log on till this is fixed.

Update: Uninstalled all files and reinstalled game. Same problem, it just sits at char. select and I am unable to select anything while my char. just rotates.

Looking at other posts, it doesn't look like anyone ever got any help. So am I just screwed and have to let all my gear rot?

ok i tried logging on my friends EQ, and i could get on my character fine, so its the Zone file on mine that somehow got corrupt, if you can just either replace zone file that your were stuck in or just replace EQ folder, worked for me
