Big Black Disconnected Window all of a sudden

Hi guys. I've been playing project 1999 for a few months now without a hitch and suddenly as of today I am getting a black screen reading "you have beeb disconnected" every 5 to 10 minutes. It is happening on my mac which has been stellar so far, but doesn't happen on my old model "T" PC. Any suggestions as to what I can do?

Macs often have a problem with wifi dropping/timing out. Try plugging in directly to your router and see if you still get disconnected.

This mac has never had that problem until today and the direct connect didn't change a thing. Obviously something is different than it has been for 4 months - just wonder what it is.
