Ranger Gearing Question

Currently level 9 wielding a Green Jade Broadsword
Have 2800 to spend. Should I be looking for a lamentation and use the BS when I can dual weild or is there a better bang for my plat?

Is it really worth it to gear for 2hb rather than 2 1hs weapons? Also is it worth it to gear for Dex for archery?

Yeah, because it's very difficult to get your epics. Woodsman staff is the nicest weapon rangers have until epics. Easy enough to skill up various weapon types as you level also. Dex... probably not.

How much does dex really affect archery? trying to research that but ya I don't think id trade 5 str for 5 dex in either case haha.

It doesn't matter. It's like considering charisma for better merchant prices. There are numbers, but the answer is "it's not important, who cares".

It really doesnt matter. Archery DPS is garbage and shouldnt be used unless your kiting something which a ranger shouldnt really do unless its necessary.

woodsman's staff is better dps.

who cares about dps, woodsman staff looks like shit. dual wielding swords is the only respectable thing a ranger can do.
