Trading to NPCs results in agonizing freeze crash

I posted in the bugs forum bc I thought it was just a broken quest but I've noticed that every time I try to hand an item to an npc, my client crashes. This includes quest turn ins and things like fire beetles.

Btw, all of this has taken place in Qeynos, if that makes any difference.

Suggestions?
