Default Remember when Twainz was making a lot of sense?

When you app to a guild that has been the biggest problem with the server since birth, it makes you a part of the problem. I should know, I did it too. I got my gear and peaced out to help others less fortunate than myself.

It means you are nothing. You are not a person, you are a number. Nizzar doesn't care what you want the server to be. If you do what he says then that is all he cares about. You are applying to a guild that gives 0 fucks about the server or any kind of integrity. If you want something to change, help change it. Don't join the main problem and say, "Hey guys, look I'm a good person, even though I assist murders and rapists on the reg."

The twainz return is one I'll never understand the true motives behind. It can't be because of his friends there because he has few to none. It isn't loot because he has it all and won't be getting a robe for his alt or sow sword any time soon. Is it velious and he's scared we wouldn't get mobs? Did lite piss him off? Not sure. There's more to the story though and I'm afraid we will never know because twainz is working his nihilum persona incredibly hard ATM.

Could it possibly be people dont like your hypocrisy? Ever imagine that the PNP you guys push so hard makes real pvpers upset? Have you ever once looked at yourself and thought, maybe I dont have what it takes to be the duke?

Nihilum are no angels by far, but your guild has sunk to the lowest this server has ever seen. I was grouped with nihilum last night and they are ok people for the most part. Your guild mostly consists of wieners who want everything for free, including yellow text.

Anyone who has been on the server his launch knows not to trust you, or follow you. Sure you may slay a dragon here or there but in the end you will never compete because you are a bunch of little tribesman with egos, and inner hatred for each other.

Dear lord, who wouldent want to group with heartbrand, and stasis, and relapse and lite? THEY MUST BE INSANE.

LONG LIVE THE DUKE, and praise his soldiers of light who are cleansing Zerglings daily.

I think both of those posts were directed at me!

I did ask in TS if he has to be nice to me in forumquest now and was told no. :\

Honestly though, people fight for the side they are on when they are on it. How many HB posts could we go back and find that don't match up to his current "persona"? Might be a fun exercise. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yes people are honest about the other side and support the side they're on, which is why Twainz made those accurate posts that is true Kergan.

HB summed up my thoughts exactly though, are Velious pixels that valuable?

Have I been guilty of flip flopping? Absolutely. However, I try my best to be neutral and never put the tin foil hat on. I've flip flipped on variance 100 times (I'm back to thinking it would be bad), but some of that is because an opinion can evolve as you collect more data. If people stuck to their original beliefs we'd still be collecting nuts in Sub Saharan Africa.

Things I haven't flipped flip on however are that there are plenty of decent people in nihilum. I never had an issue with the majority of players in nihilum. My issue has always been with the guild philosophy of "pixels before competition". This was not an opinion I hid even during my time in Nihilum. I'm sure my posts are still viewable there. Nizzar can be "nice" but it's more of a "what can you do for me," type of friendliness. Tune was a nice guy to fellow guildies but just always rubbed me the wrong way.

On the other hand I haven't changed my view of certain people on my side either. I still find perplexing the behavior and actions of some, and you'll see me call it out in ooc. I try my best pals.

Don't take what I said as an attack, just kind of a fact of both human nature which is especially true here.

And I don't blame you on the variance opinion, and I can understand the flip flop. I think you feel you can compete for dragons now within the contention methods in place, variance just adds a bunch of unneeded bs to the equation.

The truth of the matter is that either side would take just about anyone from the other save a few very extreme examples. We don't have enough people to be picky, just the way it is. From what I've seen so far with Twainz he seems like a decent dude. I'd probably say the same about just about anyone else who switched sides, because I think we're all honestly pretty decent dudes.

You put 500+ people in a virtual environment and tell them to kill each other you're not creating a super friendly environment. When someone switches sides you get both the benefit of their services and the benefit of not having them fight against you. On a low population box that is enough to overlook a LOT of shit.
