Any word on the new server?

Haven't been around much for the last month or so...Was wondering if there has been any word on the new red teams server?

By the way, while taking a break I've been playing AC4 and GTA5 on the 360. Both are very fun if you dig those franchises.

Picked up Ghosts too but haven't really played it. Definately the best graphics yet, tho, that I can tell and probably the most realistic weapon feel, altough I didn't play blackops2 so not sure if that's entirely new.

Good graphics on console? wut u talking bout? Compare to PC versions and get pwned.

I don't play anything but mmos on pc anymore. Like to sit on the couch for the regular fare. I'm sure it looks better on PC but there is no way I'm sitting at my PC to play it.

But, yes, in an apples to apples comparison of older titles to ghosts on the same hardware, its the best looking one I've seen yet. Thanks for the irrelevant oneupsmanship, tho. lol

Also been enjoying GTA5, however after the recent screwups with BF4 I made it my last console game for this gen...no sense in buying into the yearly release of COD or anything else as they'll be available for PS4 (and "XBox lol" of course) [You must be logged in to view images. I believe they said it would be coming out shortly after Velious...which means that's their top priority for now, though I can't verify this, or find where I read it.

At the time they announced it they said they had different people working on Velious and the new server so one had nothing to do with the other, in terms if dev resources.

I don't remember them saying anything about it coming with Velious. Many, myself included, speculate that it should because teams pvp needs Velious to balance Kunark, and we did that ad nauseum for a while there after the announcement, but I don't remember anything official in that regard. Doesn't mean they didn't say that, I just didn't see it and was paying close attention daily for a couple months after the announcement.

Thanks for replying, I'm not arguing with you, just don't want to contrite to rumor being passed off as fact. I'm guessing nothing really has been said in the last month or so?

Yeah, I actually had the impression it was more like a fall/winter of this year timeframe, which would pretty much be now to the next couple months, but I can't remember exactly what was said or by whom. I'm generally pretty good at separating official news from rumor tho so I think that was based on something actually said by staff. Had a lot all at once with that video thing tho so I could be wrong.
