Default Wizzie LFG

Hello all, I am a 13 wizzie that is having a hard time finding a group. I am wanting to get back into game but I don't have time to solo due to RL.

I can push through CB until 14 but that's it.

I have tried LFG in Dagnor's and BB, nothing.

My hours are monday-friday from 9pm cst until whenever. Sometimes I play on weekends, but try to get out on weekends.

If anyone is around that level range and on around that time send me a tell, name is Agandaur in game.

Always start your group. It always makes for the best groups if you handpick the classes/levels. People are always SALIVATING for an invite to a group, particularrly a dungeon group.

Groups fill up so fast almost everytime if you just start one. Find a zone and pick the camp you want there. Then be relentless with your tells, do this

/who (class you want) 10-20
That will show you every player of that class online in between those levels. When you search for the class you want then send a tell to EVERYONE that pops up asking them if they want to join y.our group.

All of my characters i almost only level them in dungeons because its the most fun, best exp and best loot. Seriously if you do that process with the 5 or 6 classes you want you will have a full group in 3-5mins, or 10mins, ALLL THE TIME. In your 20s' 30,s 40s' 50s you will have a full group in under ten minutes almost every single time.

You get to explore the more obscure dungeons and camps you never did on live this way, too. Most fun for sure. People just like to wait and hope a group opens up. That takes hours and alot of times it may be a bad group. This way you can get an ideal makeup and own some dungeon exp

At level 13, I'd recommend Oasis. Almost always a group there, and there are things you can solo while you run around with your LFG tag up.

Seems like soloing is a great option for you on most nights... When you have extra time, THEN you make/join a group. This is the first time I've ever seen someone say that they don't have time for soloing, but do for grouping. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yep Oasis...and I like wizards but encounter a lot (like Steve below) who think its cool to mana burn and AFK. Get a good reputation and people will want you back, or even if you can assemble a tank/healer, the rest will follow [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

i'm curious as how this is any less efficient. as long as you're not at full mana, you're (sadly) at your peak efficiency.

Draining the healer's mana unnecessarily for one, making steady pulls less steady (burning it down quicker), repops become more unstable if on the same timer...

I dunno, its just better to throw a nuke in on every mob..and not a super awesome nuke when the mob is at 3% to get the killing hit. The best wizards get the mob to under 5% with their big nuke and let the melee folks finish it off [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

there's a difference between finishing a nuke on a near-dead mob and powering through 2-5 mobs at a time.

Personally I want wizards stunning every mob instead of nuking to help save the healer's mana. Save the burns and nukes for when you actually need to burn and nuke.

Though I'll never understand why people roll wizards and then want to group all the time, because it's so horribly inefficient.

Hard to argue it's more fun, since if you play like most people and just dump your mana on nukes and med for 3 minutes then it's no different from soloing minus the good exp.

Isn't this every solo class in EQ? Except at later levels it's probably more like afk for 15-20.
