Default More guilds are needed for mid level

Hi guys, This post is directed at some of the new eq mac players.

The population has gone up a bit and ive seen a lot of new people around, first off let me say welcome!

The server has a rivalry between the dark side ( Nihilum ) and the rebels ( Everyone else ) But one very important thing is missing.

You see, nihilum will recruit anyone above level 30, powerlevel them and shower them in gear so they join their guild. But most of us don't want anything to do with their schenanigans.

But what other guild options are there? None really, last time I spoke with Agatha he said azrael was only accepting 55+ players ( Which is most likely why they lose all day long on the server )

Its obvious no leadership presence is in the guild, as no direction is being given or any effort at all to bolster the ranks with fresh players.

What we need is a guild for players who are looking for a mid to light endgame experience. say levels 20-52ish, by then players would be ready to make their choice.

Honestly id like to see a new rebel guild be formed since I am level 52 and seeking a guild myself, but what we need is a leader here. Someone who can TELL PEOPLE WHAT TO DO

because these type of people on red99 need to be told what to do, The only reason nihilum because successful is because they have one of those type of people, and even tho people slam him and talk all the bullshit in the world, he owns this shit.

so if you ever led a guild in the past, and would consider starting one here, do it, shit id help.

hit me up in game, im a gnome magician named miraclegrow

I saw Nizzar actively encouraging some low level guilds to get formed last night. I am hoping Azrael leadership takes the same stance.

And if they really want to help, police some of the low level zones like Mistmoore, Crushbone and Unrest with supertwinks from the douchebaggery that wants to chase new people off the server.

I've had the benefit of some high level friends helping me out, but many of these EQMac players will not. Some (if not the majority) of these players were high end raiding types that have a lot to add to Azrael or Nihilum on the PVE side, and eventually the PVP side when they get their feet wet.

While I agree with the general theme of the post, don't drag the rebels vs Nihilum crap down to the low level ranges. The more benefactors the low level population has the healthier it will be.

I can tell you first hand that members from both Nil and Az have both helped me tremendously.

They are all extremely nice players. They just seem to hate each other. But then again... if they got along this wouldn't be a pvp server anymore would it?

They are sort of like the Bloods and Crips and have no idea why they even hate each other.

O well back to OP he is correct there on the idea of more guild.

I for one have been grping with alot of lower levels in the 30-50s range between a few of my stealth characters and it seems that they are going to try to take the #3 spot, not join in with azrael or nihilum.

As for our policy with griefing lowbies, you guys are welcome to check the leaderboards and see who pvp's the 52s the most.

Anyone who wants to join azrael is free to start the application process at any time, we offer help in any way possible granted you have shown genuine interest and commitment to red99. you will however not recieve a tag until you are lvl 55.

I'm not trying to flame here, but what honestly is the difference between the #2 and #3 spot on this server?

#2 spot rolls Nihilum on the regular, brings their VP raids to a screeching halt, takes the ocassional Trak/Draco/CT?

#3 is non existent, and does nothing?

Too many little bitch gingers on this box for there to be serious competition - most would just leave their guilds and ride Nizzar's nuts since he's life dedicated.
