Default Stuck on Black Screen

After I login I get the server selection and select the Project 1999 kunark server (blue I assume) and the screen goes black... and stays black.

Any ideas?

DLed the all in one installer. I then changed the client type to SoD and the port to 5999. I also changed the eqhost.txt to reflect that port as well.

No idea.

I can tell you that most of the issues I've run into with the game not starting properly stemmed from windowed mode not being set correctly in eqclient.ini. For starters, open that file in a text editor and see that you have lines that look like this:

Code:
WindowedMode=TRUE

WidthWindowed=1024
HeightWindowed=768
WindowedWidth=1024
WindowedHeight=768
If the height/width numbers are different, that's probably fine. Any resolution you want should work. I think all that matters is that both resolutions match, and that WindowedMode is set to true.

Still having those problems. Any other ideas? Think it has to do with the server port? I wouldn't think so because it allows me to select the project1999 server, I just continue to get a black screen after I connect to it.

Should I select "play everquest" or "play project1999 kunark"?

So if I get to that server list, does that mean that the port number was entered correctly?

How many problems does that eliminate when I get to that point, a lot or a few?

Is there only a few things that could be wrong now?

I know that I changed the windowed mode and nothing happened. I set it to what was above (which is not my desktop resolution).

Delete everything, and start over.

This lovely server requires EQ:Titanium Edition. You should look around for it.

Yaaarr.... I live to dress as a PIRATE in order to keep the evil spirits at BAY. I also enjoy eatting ORGanic applesauce for lunch.

If you SEARCH FOR EVERQUEST TITANIUM long enough you will find it.

Deleted and re-installing a titanium edition, we'll see how that works. More to follow.
