Or even Bow (for the archer) and Bow (for the gentleman)

Edit: Just a comparison of the same word with two completely different meanings but pronounced differently. I know I didn't include an "oe" ending version.

Exactly. It's been sow with a short o since 1999 when I played in a computer shop with 24 computers. Every person called it that...

Every person you knew, maybe.

But it really is sOW (as in, OW! my toe!). There was a video somewhere that had verant employees saying the abbreviation and they pronounced it the way I just described.

No, I don't have proof of this, and no, it doesn't matter because it's a fictional abbreviation and you can pronounce it however you want!!




















































Except not really because it's pronounced sOW!

Argument is flawed in both directions.


But when it comes down to it, I won't be SOWing anyone who asks me for a pig.
Also, this thread already exists, and the superior pronunciation won.
