Default Tunneling traffic on port 80/443 to p99 servers

Hi,

So sometimes, i am placed on a network that has very restrictive outbound/inbound ports settings.

I assume EQ does not require any inbound initiated connections they are outwardly initiated. First off what ports does EQ and specifically p99 server use? what is the server's IP address?

Second has anyone successfully experimented with tunneling traffic out of there system along port 80/443 (or any other) to the listening ports on the p99 server?

I am a loss for software to do this with, it can't be a client/serve model. I'm investigating Midori's http tunnel as an option...

Other points of note does the EQemu send traffic to the server via a proxy? In which case whats the proxy IP, or FQDN?

Sorry lots of questions, but then it's all info need along my way to over coming some dastardly firewalls so i can get my EQ fix wherever i may be [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

After the next patch, the IP for the servers will be changing. This is a notification so that anyone with outbound firewall rules can adjust them accordingly.

Our new IP Range is as follows:

67.23.190.75 (Worldserver; Ports 9000, 7000-7200)
67.23.190.76 (Zoneserver; Ports 7000-7200)
67.23.190.77 (Zoneserver; Ports 7000-7200)
67.23.190.78 (Beta/Test; Ports 9000, 7000-7200)

Also, EQEmulator Loginserver will be changing soon, to:
67.23.190.71 (Port 5998)

Everything above is UDP.
That info is ~3 years old, so I don't know if its still true. But it looks like it provides all the answers to your questions.
