Cleric or Shaman

I have a Bard and Wiz who both can solo. Wanted to make a group toon. Never played either. Which should I play?

Have roughly 10k to twink

If you're pretty sure you're just gonna group, probably cleric. Lots of shaman running around too

Def going to group, when I cant find a group I'll just hop on one of the other toons and solo. Not a lot of people want bards or wiz I am finding and I miss the social aspect of the game so I need a class that people will want to hang out with haha.

You'll have plenty of time to chat inbetween healz=). Shaman you'll have to be spamming canni anyway.

Essentially this. It pretty much boils down to whether you want to be able to take time to chat (at the cost of slow mana regen), have great heals, and be forced to group unless you're fighting undead...

...or be able to solo effectively almost everywhere, be wanted in groups only as a buff/debuff bot, and have no time to chat because you're too busy canni-dancing. :P

Ya seems to be a lack of mid range clerics atm... been in a lot of groups as healer on my sham lately.

Maybe at low levels, is the total opposite endgame. Wish my 60 Cleric was a 60 Shaman sometimes because there are so many Clerics.

They are both needed, im a cleric and I kind of regret not rolling necro/ench/shaman for first char purely for the ability to solo/farm shit.

At the same time playing a cleric in group is 100000x easier, group buff everyone then cast cheals as needed on tank.

Shaman has to slow everything, cast a million different buffs all on short timers, cani cani cani cani, haste haste haste, slow slow slow, I can see why a lot prefer to solo =P

Since you have a solo char, I would say go Cleric.

I parked my Cleric and am slowly working up a Shaman soloing and duoing with a friend (well, haven't had a chance to play in a few weeks...soon though).
