Default Special Monk attacks

What are the uses and bonsues (if any) of the different monk attacks?

Such as
Tiger Claw or Dragon Punch (or is it strike?)

is there an inherent stun with any of them or anything else?

What to use at what time, that kind of thing.
I know some are on the same cool down but thats about it.

Friend of mine is playing a monk and he asked and I don't know

There's no inherent stun to any of them. The only reason why you might want to train up every special attack is because certain disciplines use a super-powered version of the attack. For example, Thunderkick. You usually just want to use the highest leveled special attack. The only reason I found myself using a lower leveled special attack is because I was PLing and didn't want to do too much damage to the target.
