J.J Abrams the director of Star trek and Star trek into darkness is directing the new Star Wars movies.. Kind of funny imo.. also Making Half-Life and Portal movies which will be interesting.

Great director though, I love his movies.

Anyone else's thoughts?

half life could be an awesome movie if they do it right, the first half life was the greatest, not that hard to get a story line but I hope it doesn't end up being like doom was with the rock>.<

He doesn't respect Canon. He's liable to make the next Star Wars movie a romcom about Jarjar Binks. He's better when he has a new, unique, original show to work on.

Yes and no. If you want to read up on his backstory with Star Trek you'll find out that he is a self-proclaimed Star Wars fanboy who watched such little Star Trek he didn't even know Spock was half human.

He won't do worse than Lucas did with the Prequels.
