thanks. that really made me mad. nothing wrong with posting it - some people are just more affected by it than others (namely, people with children). I'm definitely one of those people.

In 2001, a nine-month old boy died while he was left unattended in a utility closet. His dad left him in the closet because the child's crying was distracting his father from playing the online fantasy game "EVERQUEST".
"EVERQUEST" also figured into the death of a three-year old Arizona girl, who died of heat exposure inside a locked vehicle, while her mother was inside playing the game.
In 2005, a couple in South Korea were arrested after their 4-month-old girl suffocated AT HOME, ALONE, while her parents played "WORLD OF WARCRAFT" at a nearby internet Cafe.
The most recent case (JUNE, 2007) ,involves a 22-month-old boy, and an 11-month-old girl in Reno, Nevada.
The parents of these children, Michael and Iana Straw, became extremely distracted by the online version of "DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS".
When police arrived and rushed the babies to the ER, the children were severely malnourished and near death. The boy was treated for STARVATION, and a genital infection. He could not walk normally, due to poor muscle development.
The little girl, 11 months old, only weighed 10 lbs, and suffered from a mouth infection, dry skin, and severe dehydration. She also had to have her head shaved, because it was matted to her scalp with cat urine!!
