NPC Spawn Issue: Giant Wasps not dropping wings or spawning properly?

I just spent a day in Misty thicket. As in around 9 to 12 hours real time. During that time I killed approx. 50 Giant Wasps. In all of those I only received the giant venom sac 3 times. I did not obtain a single Giant Wasp wing from all those kills. Also I never saw Royal Jelly once. In that time as I remember it when I did the quest often on live I would have around the range of 4 to 7 wings and at least one royal jelly if not a few.

As far as the Giant Wasp spawning it also seems broken. I cleared (by dragging the entire area to the guards) beyond the gate many times during my stay in the Thicket and in that time I saw a Giant Wasp spawn 2 times amongst the roaming mobs. the only place I actually found the Wasps to spawn is at the totem that spawns undead. At this totem the timer is off as in live the undead only spawn at night at the totem and yet during a 24 hour game cycle both undead and living spawn at that totem.

After killing over 50 of them and obtaining the sac 3 times (which as I recall is rarer than the wing) I left and will test out crookstinger sometime in the future. For a low level quest I can not imagine the wing drops to actually be working as intended.

I now have 4 crookstinger daggers and a sac of venom from him and he has not dropped a wing at all.

Wasp wings simply do not drop right now and I hope that gets fixed.

They aren't thattt rare. 50 kills? :T The wings are more likely to drop than the venom sacs. The number generator must have had its way with you.

Research suggests this. I am going to add a few more spawns, and make the wasps a day time only spawn, replaced with undead at night.

There are part of the misty thicket quest for the bug collection. I am trying to do this quest with an alternate of mine. I see a lot saying they spawn over near the goblin camps, or on west end of zone durring the day. The apparently do not spawn at night (game time). I am also in WK getting the giant beetle legs. They certainly do drop it. Perhaps the combination of not enough spawns, slightly too low drop rate, and the RNG hating on you, it seemed they were missing altogether.

Pending update,
-Slightly increased drop rate of giant wasp wings
-Added giant wasp eye to giant wasp loottables
-Added additional giant wasp spawns
-Wasps are daytime only spawn, replaced with undead at night.

Should these even drop royal jelly?

The wings are pretty rare, but still faster and more interesting to farm than giant fire beetle eyes...

Clear the mummy hill. 2 out of the 3 spots spawn bees. I got drops pretty well there.
