Quest Issue: Faction problems with monk quest

Qeynos monk headband quest. As you did each new quest (white, then yellow, etc.) you would get more and more faction which enabled you to do the next one.

I have currently hit a problem in that i am unable to hand in to Togahn Sorast. He tells me i need to be more trusted (need more faction). This should not be the case. As you progress, each headband quest you complete gives you enough faction for the next one.

I know this because iksar monks used to make level 1 alts, transfer the quest items, and hand it all in on their level 1 alt because your faction would progress as you handed in.

I am currently stuck farming blackburrow gnolls to raise my ashen hand faction so that i can hand it in, and this is wrong.

Edit: Of course, iksars weren't classic, but it was always the same. I levelled a freeport monk to 50, never went anywhere near the ashen hand faction, and yet i was able to do all hand ins in a row without any faction problems.

Additional to this problem still existing (yes i am still faction stuck when the quests are meant to give you enough faction for the next one as you do each one).

Raster camp is also wrong.

Firstly, the mino patriarch has a chance to spawn as one of the static minos that is part of the mino camp. This makes it hard for an average geared level 50 monk to camp the place, and can often completely send you out of kilter because you have to wait for mend to be up. The patriarch was never part of the spawn table for these mobs, it would be a certain frog (stationary by the entrance to raster 'room') or minos. No patriarchs spawned here.

Also, the mino that is raster's PH doesn't have the correct properties. He was on a 28 minute spawn timer but at 8AM game time, the mob standing there (either raster or a PH) would despawn and repop at 10AM game time. Atm, this doesn't happen, there is no despawn.

Do a search on this page for "patriarch", there's no mention. And this was THE critical guide for classic monks after raster. It WOULD have been mentioned. Also check the despawn/respawn notes.

I included this information as part of this post for two reasons - the headband quest faction rewards still haven't been changed, but also i figured it was all part of the same overall quest - ie. the robe.

That spawn cycle would be immensely hard to duplicate/replicate correctly as 10am and 8am are not normal day night cycle positions.

Let me see what I can do.

Togahn Sorast has no faction checks... Are you certain you're receiving an error?

Bump.. same thing is happening to me. The guy says he doesn't trust me enough.. even though he considers me kindly.

I have all the quest items.. can a GM hand them in for me or something?

Bumping this, same error. Sorry for creating a new thread. same error with headbands, haven't checked Raster... but he is right about the frog.

well i can honestly say i was impressed by its chi flat iron performance. I had purchased a cermic chi iron bout 5 years ago, for 150.00 when they had 1st appeared in the town where i live and it still in good shape, but i had to purchase a new one due to cord malfunctions. where the cord attached to the iron kept pullin in and out and the iron would lose power. the one i had just purchased from folica.com heats up faster better price and does an awsome job on my hair. even though i have straight hair already this iron improves the shine prevents less frizz and also gives faster results then exspensive one i had purchased. i definitly recomend this site as well as the chi ceramic irons if u hate spending lots of money for something you think will last forever think again. i was conerned about fakes at first but i took the risk and i'm very satisfied, sure you will be to so check it out.
