So I was in Qeynos Hills the other night, and ran by the Undead Ruins and saw it was empty, so decided to camp Pyzjin for a bit and see if she'd show.
After about 5 mins, a Barbarian Shaman much higher level than me rolls up, and starts kill stuff popping around the ruins. I said hi and asked what he was hunting, and told him I was there for Pyzjin. He said that he "had the camp but had to run and buy some food, but that he'd been there a little bit. Now, what option am I left with? Obviously he left the camp, and cant just keep it on hold because he "had it a lil bit" while he's off running errands. But he obviously wasn't moving, and I had no choice but to get muscled out of the camp. First off, what the hell? Second, what is someone like me supposed to do? Thanks in advance for your opinions. - Ceredin Fancylad, 24 Druid

[[ 100% your camp, this is pretty much against the rules to steal it from you ]]

Pyzjn is not actually in a camp, because she has numerous spawn points/ph's and wanders. I am pretty sure the GMs have addressed this before. You both had equal rights to be there and whoever was FTE would've had the right to loot her.

He was being an ass.
That said, what are you to do? Petition? Let it go? Start an argument? Personally, it's all dependent on the personality of the person that is trying to infringe upon a camp or area that I am at. If they're nice, I'll generally concede and let them have it back. If they're being an ass (like it sounds like this guy may have been) I'd probably push my right to keep the area. Good luck and I hope your other experiences with people are better than this one seems to have been

I did, however, send him a tell reminding him that while I was content to hand the camp back, someone else in my place might have gotten quite pissed off, and the server rules would've backed them up. I didn't get much of a response back other than a "whatever man, that's stupid man" kind of thing, but I hope it leaves an impression and he looks up the camp rules. Thanks for your opinions, all. Perhaps a name and shame thread is in order? That's what used to happen back on Xegony [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You have track, you could probably have still got FTE on piz when she popped.
You should have stayed there and let him kill everything while you mashed track and ate a tasty sandwich.

Then again, without track he'd have to know where to look for the PHs. And "killing everything around the ruins" isn't the best way to spawn Pyzjn.
