Default Stalking Probe Agro

is this working as intended? on my druid if i cast a probe, invis myself, and send the probe into a group of mobs that do not see invis, they agro the probe, kill it, then come running after me. on my monk, if i cast a probe, FD, then agro a group of mobs, the mobs kill the probe and then reset. the exception to this is if the mob DTs, my monk will take the DT eventhough he is FD'd (i agree that he should be taking the DT). should FD and invis be working differently with regards to mobs that dont see invis? or should invis kill the probe like invis kills pets? though probes are tagged as pets, they sorta take the place of pets.

another observation: on my druid, when my vision and control transfers to the probe, my name over my toon turns from blue to black, however on my monk it stays blue (/role off, /anon off for both toons). seems odd to me

99.99% sure I remember eyes eating DTs, esp on FD'd monks. I think I can find a CT shout of "EYE OF SOANDSO!", and I believe it even belonged to an FD'd monk (lucky us) when I get a lil more poking around time.

There's also an issue where a mage should only be able to have an eye of zomm OR a pet but not both, I'd hafta level up a mage here to find out.

The invis pull stuff, well yeah obviously and this eye issue ties in there.

FD / invis combinations is going to be some really tricksy stuff to weed through, but all worth it in the name of Classic EQ restoration.

Pretty sure having a pet+eye was patched, is it different for mages?

I guess this is probably just something to lump into the mess of invis/FD issues.

Random questions that I just don't know the answer to that might help make the mechanics understandable:
Will agro on an FD necro (summoned) pet transfer to the necro? (pretty sure this is no)
Will a DT land on a pet (summoned or charmed) if the owner is non-FD?
Will a DT land on a pet (summoned or charmed) if the owner is FD?

Also consider, could they have first allowed eyes to take DTs during the zone-wide DT cycles in hate/fear, but then changed it when DT mobs were added based on agro? If eyes ate DTs normally, not sure why the "rangers taking a DT" joke would exist, if you could just send an eye in first.

Didn't mean to ramble, but I think it came out that way.

Pets were patched some time ago. It was very convenient to let pet hit the eye to check pet level, but no big deal.

If necro is FD, aggro doesn't transfer.

If the master is not FD, the DT will hit the master instead of the pet. This has been true as long as I have played here.

DTs used to land on pets if master was FD. I once watched a necro do this to CT repeatedly until it crashed and fully repopped fear... that was the day that Draco died like 4 times in something like 16 hours ( and also the only time I ever remember two competing raids both giving up on CT and leaving him up til the next day). I doubt that it works that way any more, but PoSky would be the obvious/easy place to check.
