Game Mechanics: Dark Elf Illusion and Regen?

As a level 31 troll shaman, with regeneration, sitting, I regenerate 14 hp per tick. With dark elf illusion on, with regeneration, sitting, I regenerate 8 hp. Not sure what could be causing this.

Without regeneration, troll regens 9, dark elf regens 3. Just for additional info.

Whenever you take on an illusion, the racial bonuses of that illusion replace yours. Why do you think there are a lot of enchanters running around in Troll illusion?

My question though - do you negate the negative exp bonus when you use an illusion?

I've thought of all of this. Is troll regen really 6hp per tick though? I was under the impression it was less.

Yes. Troll regen is very high. When you use the guise, you gain Ultravision and small size. You lose Regen and Slam.

Thanks for the clarification guys. I had always thought troll regen wasn't as OP as it is.
