Question Most under-played class on R99?

Hey there R99 community,

I'm an old Tallon Zek gamer, that was recently reminiscing about my EQ days on the old faction pvp servers, and I found this.

As I'm waiting for my copy of Titanium, I was just curious about the "most demanded" or "most underplayed" class on the server at the moment.. I'm open to suggestions, and will play almost anything to A) establish myself on the server and B) get some cash and loots with which I can play alts of things I actually really enjoyed playing back in the day.

I don't see much about class population imbalances on the forums.. but I'm sure they're out there. What classes are most sought after at the moment? I welcome answers from anything low-mid-high end game, as I'll soon be progressing through them anyway.

ps: i don't need class mechanics explained, as I've play almost all classes to 30+ back in my EQ days. Just an estimation of class populations.

wouldnt say rare just sayin there is a reason why there is only one active ranger, maybe 2 on the server. same goes for paladins. if you wanna be a novelty and hate your life play paladin. if you wanna pvp and enjoy the server play caster.

Ok, well thinks for the advice. I deffo will consider it. I suppose there is an abundance of mages/necros?

As for there being only 1 active ranger.. That will probably be the case until after velious. What's up with the other tank classes? Pallies the only lacking? And SK's?

dont worry about lure spells. resists are so fucked up here that everything always lands, even blinds, whirls and shit

Alright see you guys are basically telling me to forget group-play while leveling?

Secondly, paladins and rangers got root as well, right? Rangers had snares for sure.
