Classic Spell Icons/Gems with Default UI help please!

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get the classic spell icons/gems (1999/pre-luclin) on my default UI.

I've installed Duxa's All in one thingy (which is awesome btw) but the only option when wanting classic spell icons and gems is to use the Duxa UI, which I really don't like.

Now, I read up on the thread about updating your UI (http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11949) and the OP mentions about customizing your spell icons and gives a download link for each style where you can dump them into your UI folder. Would that work? If I were to download one of those and place them into my default UI folder without doing the rest of his instructions, would that severely screw me or would it be just fine?

Yes it should work, just download the classic rounded or squared and put them into your UI folder.

Maybe backup your default folder before you copy them in just to be safe.

I posted a link for the whole default UI just in case.

Just as a 'FYI' if you want to change just the spell gems, make a new folder and put the gems set you want in it unzipped and load that UI folder - everything else will get pulled from the default automatically. No need to overwrite any files at all.

Thanks guys! Everything works beautifully now! The whole thing was keeping me from playing any class that used spells (I'm very picky :P)
