Default installation problems

I just received the game from an ebay purchase.
The first disk wouldn't install until I wiped a bugger off the disk.
Every thing was fine till I came to disk 5 and it says it can't find the autoload file.
I can see in the directory for the disk that it is there.
I loaded everything into a folder on the computer and tried installing that way. Still wants me to load the disks into the drive.
I remember doing this years ago for another game but as an old fart I am having trouble figuring how to do this now.
Whats the procedure for loading all the disks on the computer and then installing them from there?
Thanks

I solved the installation problem by copying disk 5 to the desktop and replacing the autload file with the one from disk 4 then burned a new disk 5. It installed OK.
NOW when I try to boot the program it get an error saying, "Could not establish a connection. Please check your network connection or contact eqtech@soe."
They are closed now and I'd sure like to get started. Any ideas of how to overcome this issue?

I installed the game, the EQemu launcher and when I click play on the launcher I get a window that says " you do not have enough permissions to the specified EverQuest Directory. Aborting patching..
What do I do now?
