Pet xp

I took a break back when the pet xp was changed to if the pet out dps's you then it takes something like 75% of the exp or whatever the figure was. Is that still in effect or is the number different now? Thanks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I have heard that pets don't take any exp at all in groups unless they do 100% of the damage (ie if you do 0 damage your pet will still take 50% exp). Can anyone confirm/deny?

If you are grouped, the pet does not take xp, so long as you have done at least 1 point of damage. When the pet nerf went in, it was explained that, "this does not apply if you are grouped." For a time people could group across zones with random people and avoid the penalty, but I believe that has been fixed.

even as a duo, there is no pet penalty. only applies to solo.
