Each time I hit play I get thrown back to login screen

So I'm returning after about a year of absence; installed titanium, fired up the eqemu launcher, logged in and hit play. Every time I get thrown back to the login screen after about half a minute after clicking play. I see there are 19 folks on the server. So did I forget to do something during install, or is it just a crappy EQ1999 day?

The world server is busted. This happens sometimes, there are three or four other threads on it.

This happens about 2 times a day in all realism.
