Pink Lettering/Black Screen MAC

I followed Phobus' instructions, I even went through all of the posts for mac on here. No answer to the issue with the black screen with pink text (or just black screen with NO pink text).

I tried reinstalling, I tried deleting the eqclient.ini filed, I tried messing around with some of the settings. None of it works. I'm going insane trying to figure this out! Can anyone help!
