Default Best Running Route from Qeynos to Freeport

I am a level 13 Bard and I am currently stationed in Qeynos. I have done the gnoll fang quest to death and even tried aoe kiting whisps at Eruds Crossing. My time in this side of the world was fun, but I am getting bored and would like to run to Freeport (because I can never seem to find a porter and I like that kind of thing). So my question to you is...........

What is the best route to run from Qeynos to Freeport?

Things to keep in mind:
Low level
Bard with speed
Quickest and least dangerous route

READY?!? GO!

Run towards North Karana (google EQ Atlas if you need maps) and /ooc for teleports to West Commons the whole way. If you can pay plats, all the better. If you don't get a port by the time you hit High Pass, keep running and mind the gnolls and orcs. Stick to the left wall in Kithicor and there you are. Selo's be with you! Such is the classic way =)

I'm a gorge/runnyeye/misty person. A 13 bard shouldn't have any problems that route.

I like the gorge/runnyeye/misty route just because it avoids that ridiculous ramp in EK. The fact that it's somewhat less deadly if you don't have invis is a nice plus.

Neither way is particularly dangerous but you can pick up some needed future spells in highkeep.

Well if the named roaming evil eye is up gorge is deadly. He is lvl 35ish enchanter.

I'd avoid highpass if I was a 13 bard. Take gorge/runnyeye/misty.

I've gone down through SK/LR/RM/Rot/Inno/Sro/Oasis/Nro before. It's a loooooooong ass run but so damn safe even for a level 1 character without sow.

I ended up going going to Highpass, but I couldn't make it across. There were far too many KOS gnolls. Luckily, someone (I forgot your name, good sir) invised me and led me the way.

Definitely wouldn't recommend the Highpass route to any newbies unless you have invis or can get some.
