Question Far Clip Plane?

When I try adjusting the far clip plane slider in-game it seems to have no discernible difference at 0, 100 or anywhere in-between. Also, I tried modifying 'ClipPlane' and 'FogScale' in eqclient.ini however the values simply revert to 20 and 4 (respectfully) after I launch the game.

the only bit of insight I managed to glean from google was this:

My client has these modifications:
utilized the EQLite batch script
Updated the UI
installed the higher resolution textures

could any of these alterations be causing this issue or is the limited clip plane simply an intended 'feature'?

Make sure its not raining in the zone your in . I noticed that if your in a zone thats raining you can move the clipping plane up and down and your length of vision wont change . If its clear out it will move .

Yup no rain, clear as a bell. That is unless you count The Fog.

Hello, I have noticed this as well and I have not made the modifications you have.

Nothing seems out of ordinary in the ini file.
