Default Stalking probe madness

So I bought a stalking probe for my necromancer and attempted to use it in Howling Stones after liching to low health. I was in a safe corner where I could sit and nothing was in LoS or aggro range. I popped the stalking probe and instantly mobs from around a corner aggroed. I thought maybe it was a just bug with the area or something. I cleared out a room in North wing and attempted to use the stalking probe again and mobs from a different room that were out of LoS and definitely out of aggro range for even a level 1 character came running into the room.

If there is an aggro issue with eye of zomm then it needs to be fixed. In classic this was a necro/sk go to for life tapping and other classes would use it to OT hammer.

Only thing I can think of is that its very low level and that might cause an increase in agro range

Went and did some more testing....The stalking probe aggro is out of control. The aggro goes through walls and around corners with a pretty huge range. As a necro they were used even in places that weren't exactly safe so you could lifetap or hammer out. On my bard I would use singing steel helm to hammer and never saw this type of crazy aggro.

Obvious question but are you against a wall or in a corner and popping the eye into the wall?

I have tried it multiple ways - facing a corner - facing the middle of an empty room - and down a ramp out of LoS and out of aggro range of anything (which resulted in a mob on top of the ramp and down the hallway to aggro).

You can't summon pets or eyes while against any walls. They will cause massive trains by warping thru walls or up and down the z axis. Learned this the hard way on my mage in lower guk.

Summoned a pet at zone line, sit to med. 10 seconds later I think every frog from liveside plus all the minotaurs were right on me.

Eye of Zomm causes huge aggro due to how low of level the eye is. I use it to sometimes pull mobs in Sebilis bar due to its cool aggro potential. I tried this in disco once, and it pulled a fair amount of crypt.
