Smile Dev/GM Response to Latest Patch

Not sure if you guys just don't visit the patch thread after a certain amount of time or if you totally ignore it. So I wanted to post a thread here to see if you have seen the concerns that a lot of people have raised concerning mobs flee speed. I'm a 55 warrior and not worried about Inferno Goblins attacking me 15 times in one round as long as they don't hit me, but that would be something that could be addressed as well maybe. Anyways, the mob flee speed is all I care about getting fixed right now. Once again, I praise you guys for the hard work, and I know that code has got to be super complicated, but myself, as well a number of other players would like to know if it is being worked on or not.

Despite playing a fair bit recently I only noticed the increased runspeed today. It seems like normal mob runspeed (when it's not chasing you that is). Do they sometimes run at SoW speed? If so maybe those mobs actually have SoW?

I personally don't think it's bad. Shamans cast sow. Sowed mobs run fast. Snare them

regarding 15 attacks in a round: that was fixed the same day, it was a problem with rogue class NPCs.

regarding fast flee speed: they don't run too fast. once in a while you get one that runs too fast- this happens because it's a healer and it's casting a heal while it gets lowered to fleeing hp. it thinks it's time to run, but then a heal lands. it's no longer at low health but its still in flee mode so it takes off like a rocket. it's rare. deal with it babies

Just get a ranger or druid in your group.

I just never remember not being able to keep up with mobs in Sol A on live. I'm a 55 warrior and could steam roll most stuff in that zone back in the day.

What do you guys do in Hate when you can't land a root or snare on a Spite Golem? Is evac the answer? Because once it gets to a certain % it goes and agros at least 10 mobs. We went up with 7 or 8 people in their mid 50's the other night and couldn't remedy the situation without leaving.

Now that mob run speed has been "fixed" does that mean that snare actually works like it did in Classic? i.e. If you snare a mob it literally walks super slow towards you or if under a certain amount of HP it stops altogether??

This has been my experience, before AND after patch actually.
