Looks interesting...I like the idea of mapping to mouse too because I have never been much good at kb tuning. I'm learning a bit with DAoC Uthgard so far, but it's still a pita for me to try to do reactive combat.

I'm curious to see what their crafting is going to be like. Does open world = sandbox in that sense? I'm hoping so...because I would not hesitate to play it if there's a good crafting implementation.

d&d ONLINE 2.0. This game will be a fun solo game lol till the nostalgia wears off. Not having pvp in openworld game when it goes live says everything. Will probably be a linear open world style.

It will be a rehash enhanced version of DnD online eberron. Anyone who has extensively played ddo will find that most faults they find on ddo will be upgraded. If anyone has played recently the modules ddo is releasing left and right really enhances the storyline not seen in any other mmo to date. Expect big plays from this title. I should know I have played ddo since beta and it seems they are taking what's great there and just improving it! Only thing that will piss me off is the younger crowd of kids free to play has drawn to ddo, turned that title into ignorant muddy play ground which might leak over to neverwinter. . . Would suck to adventure and quest these epic story lines with ducking kids.

As for linear and not having pvp at launch. . These titles aren't about pissing hundreds of hours into 1 toon but experimentation of classes and extreme customization, duel class, multi class ect. . The pvp will not be released at launch most likely cause with ddo they really like player feedback and will be tweaking it and polishing it based on players response. Expansions most likely like ddo will be free! Trust me its def worth a look.

The idea that they are even mentioning PVP is progress for MMOs.

I hope it does not turn out like another Age of Conan, ie much promise but failed delivery.
