Can't connect while using VPN service.

I recently bought VPN server from privateinternetaccess.com due to Time Warner Cable throttling my bandwidth to Twitch.TV and certain websites like that. I tried to connect to the P99 server but it kicks me back to the login after trying to get past the server select. Any reason why?

Your VPN is probably blocking the necessary ports.

Not sure what P99 operates on, but EQEmu defaults are something like:

9000 (UDP)
7000-7100 (UDP)

Why do you need a VPN server to play P99? Are they throttling you for that?

Looks like they don't support opening ports on their VPN. Going to get a refund. Thanks Ephi.
