![]() Is there some kind of IP address check that limits you to playing only on your home IP address?
I am on the road quite a bit and would like to play on my laptop when I'm out but I can never seem to get logged in. Everything goes off without a hitch at home? Do I need to apply for an exception?

![]() Newp, P99 doesn't care where you log in from at all.
I'd guess that ports (or port ranges) are being blocked on the connections you're trying to use on the road. =/

![]() My guess is its not port forwarding causing the problem. I can log into any other EQEMU server just fine. The only one that gives me an issue is P99.
Update: Just tried several more servers and all connect to the character screen successfully. The only server that gives me an issue is P99. It hangs at server selection and then just boots me back to login with no error message. Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

![]() I too travel alot and have never had this issue so not sure that an exemption is what you need. In fact, I am posting and playing from Iraq at the moment and was able to play on the way over in both Osaka and Kuwait airports (Not to mention from home in Okinawa).
