skeletal cook

Reading from the p1999 wiki I've found two entries that list two different spots for the skeletal cook to spawn in Kurns Tower. Can anyone confirm if he spawns in the basement or at the top of the tower? I'd like to finish this quest.

Haven't done the quest here on P99 so not 100% certain but on live they revamped the quest about '03/'04 moving the cook to the top floor. Prior to that he spawned on the bottom floor in the Jester area. Given that we are not at that point in the timeline, I would be inclined to say he pops on the bottom floor.

He spawns in the basement, by the number 3 area on this map :

There are 3 boxes there. He spawns in the 2nd one (middle one) and his PH is the one to the north of the room.

Thank you for the responses. I'm going to hold off on trying to get him to spawn until I'm a little higher level. Burynai place holders annoy me to no end and that dungeon can get pretty nasty if one runs on you.

I've spawned him there before. His placeholders, atleast when I was killing him, were always skeletons. As long as you aren't already KoS to the Burynai, you shouldn't have to worry about them.
