Going insane

So after failing to work p99 on my mac i bought a new pc which has arrived, I have the 5 disk eq titanium instalation on my desktop and its called everquest titanium and plan on following this when its installed:

I have disabled all antivirus

BUT theres a problem, im running windowsvista 64 bit I think...

it says firstly that daemon tools is blocked by compatibiliy issues, soooooo I downloaded deamon tools from the website and that has instaled ok, but then the instruction on the read me are not valid are they?

So anyway i fiddle around and drink more beer cos this is giving me a headache. and follow the instructions as best i can on this new version of deamon tools i have. i get to autoplay BD-ROM Drive (J[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] EQ_TITANIUM_1 and it asks if i want to run instal .exe so i do.

Goodness happens and the eq desktop opens up looking like a normal installing game


it says choose destination location

C:\program files (x86)\sony\everquest

fine i say NEXT!

one more NEXT!

now its installing

Computer says, setup needs the next disk. Please insert disk 2.... so i browse for CD2 under everquest titanium and choose that path is C:\users\administrator\desktop\everquest titanium\CD2


THEN it tells me "setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk. Please check that the proper disk is insertd or specify a new path"


ARRRRGGGG!! help please! $100 to anone that can get this to work for me guaranted!

ok so i right click on deamon tools lite go to virtual devices then [DT-1 (K[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] EQ Titanium 2 . then mount image . I open EQ_TITANIUM_CD2 by double clikcing it then says intal or run program i say run noautorun.exe . Then nothing happens I do that for all 5 CDs. Is that right?

ok i keep on adding new DT virtual drives and its getting me to cd4 , them it says ive reached limit of virtual drives!!! o nooooo im gonna die truely geeeezzz

When you get to the "insert disc 2" message, you just mount up the Disc 2 image (in the same place where you mounted disc 1). Don't open anything on it. Then click next or OK, after disc 2 is mounted.

You shouldn't be opening any files after you begin install.

And you should only be using 1 virtual device to do this.

you only need to mount one disc at a time. the installation will pause and wait for you to "insert the next disc"

well i think its all downloaded ok and i have a shortcut to my desktop which when i press tries to update it so i dont do that. now im trying using this

but when i chose a place for it to instal it says "this is not where eq is installed" so where is it installed???? lol

So remove the virtual drives you used for the previous discs. Only need to mount 1 disc at a time.

err ok found where it was now im at eqemu launcher news, when i press play it says please select a server first and keeps scrolling "could not reach eqemulator.com.trying agian in 30 seconds. Man this is a mission. Keep on thinking im about to decide on a character then theres a new problem ahh ha ha
