Cannot Play

I've used two different copies of Everquest Titanium Edition and neither seem to work, I've followed the directions down to the T even had someone else install it who is playing it. I am able to log into the game on a friends computer so I know its not an account issue. I'm running Windows 7 but I have seen posts saying that is not an issue but I have also read posts from people saying they use older computers to play the game.
