Exclamation Not protected on boat - classic protected you

On classic EQ boats (and even canoes, such as in oasis.. although most people exploited the canoes, such as sending pets on someone then jumping on a canoe so no one could cast spells on them, but they couldnt cast spells either back at least),

If you are on the boat, you are PROTECTED; same as if they are protected if you cast a spell on someone out of pvp range.

Because it's 1) Classic 2) Glitchy if you die on a boat anyways (and rather a low blow on unrelated terms)

This should return..

Edit: Oops, not in pvp bugs .. please move this

If you take a boat, make sure you hide inside. Quit working the decks with the crew, you just get in their way.

Not being protected on the boat is 100% classic.

And makes for great /tells after you kill a person on the boat.
