![]() I have posed this qestion to people of all three religions, "Yes or no, can you peacefully coexist with a person that practices a different religion than you do?"
Most Christians always answer with a simple direct "Yes" Most Jews always answer with a simple direct "Yes" Nearly every Muslims answers with a "Yes, but (insert various stuff here)" It's like they cannot simply answer the question yes or no. I have visited many Christian/Judaism/Islam debates and meetings here in Dallas over the past few years. Meet and greet sort of things. They are usually forums where you can meet/speak/debate with others that are a different religion than you in a controlled environment. The idea is to spark coexistance I suppose. I am finding it rather disturbing that people of the islamic faith cannot coexist with people of other faith. Does this mean that they are all radical, but some more vocal than others? I pose this in R&F not to stir thing up btw. I figured this was the safest place to post it, and also notice there are more people here than the other forums. I am very interested in other opinions on this if you have them. I'm sure it will get to be a flame fest in a bit on this - but would love to hear others insight/opinion on it too. Call me curious!
