Voted Velious because I am firmly opposed to p99 being anything but a classic era emulator.

However, it would be somewhat interesting if a new server (starting fresh) came out and took the p99 moniker, while the current server was renamed "legends" or something equally trite.. After that transition, I wouldn't be opposed to certain custom content..

It's a pipe dream really, but this is the setup which I think most people agree follows The Vision, before it was corrupted:

Continue to force old models.
Add Alternate Advancement.
Completely skip the Luclin expansion.
Add wizard spells to portal to various Alternate Planes, mostly from the PoP expansion.
Old world zone revamps post velious.
Add Mayong Mistmoore as a scalable GM-playable character.
..and of course, more damned GM events. (sigh)

Beyond the above, if I ruled the world and had my druthers, Frogloks would be added as a playable race, and Rogue would be added as a playable class for Trolls.

Make it so. Don't care about anything else from LoY, but frogloks are a must imo. Best race ever.

Everyone hate Luclin for humanoid cats and going to the moon, OR cats on the moon. First of all, where do you think cats on earth came from? The moon dumb asses. Secondly, why are humanoid cats bad, but humanoid lizards great? Thirdly, some classes have the ability to teleport people, so why would moon teleportation be a stretch? Just sayin'.

Also, I wouldn't mind frogloks being added, but not the LoY expansion.

It's better if they are shamanistic dreamers who are all like "yeah bro, we're like, from the mooon, brooo." It's worse if there is any evidence of that, because it ruins the mystery. This mystery is more akin to "what do seven bloody tampons a day look like in the trash," rather than "what does the inside of a clean vagina feel like."

Because the moon is made of cheese, and nobody can teleport to cheese. Also: distance.

Humanoid lizards are also retarded, but at least they had a better storyline than 'OH HAI WELCOME TO DA MOON!!! HERE WE ARE!!' Neither are as retarded as humanoid frogs, though.
